Alcohol: 13.6% alc/vol approximately 7.6 Standard Drinks
Fruit Source: estate grown, Margaret River
Winemaker: Andrew Gaman, Rockfield Estate
Colour:

Deep red with violet tine, excellent clarity. Bright purple with excellent clarity.

Nose:

Complex dense berry cherry chocolate and spice with sweet leathery oak. Excellent varietal character with Margaret River regional mint. Young berry fruits, clean and in balance.

Palate:

Medium to full bodied. Spicy blackberry, plums and chocolate. Simple chewy tannins, good acid balance and warm spicy finish.

Oak Maturation: 12 months on French and American oak.
Cellaring potential: 2-9 Years

Seems to have more savoury earthy character than the previous vintage. It's remarkably soft and supple on the palate while the flavour is intense and quite concentrated. Really Well integrated. 89/100
