The SQF2000 (Safe Quality Food) system guarantees food safety, quality of the product and traceability throughout the chain from production to the consuming market. Important features of the system are among others that SQF2000 is based on a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system and that besides hygiene the product quality is taken into account. SQF2000 can be linked to the universal ISO 9000 standard for quality systems
